Worth The Wait Revolution Family...Happy April 2009!
April
has been an exciting month for Worth The Wait Revolution,
Inc. We joined Word Up! College Outreach on the campus of
The George Washington University, in Washington, DC for
The DC College Tour: Gospel Explosion, featuring Canton
Jones and Dr. Mike Freeman. Pastor Mike Freeman truly has
a heart and an anointing for this generation and it was
definitely a special impartation for college students and
even those young at heart. Dr. Mike has been my Pastor since
I was 18 years old and my life has been transformed and
revolutionized by his outstanding leadership, impeccable
integrity and his heart to please God. I am truly looking
forward to a life-changing time of praise that is tailor-made
to the needs of this generation.
I will be travelling to several locations during the month
of April and I thank you in advance for your prayers of
protection, provision, and power. God has faithfully opened
many doors, and I am honored to walk through them. To God
be all the glory. I remember when I was completing my anesthesiology
residency, and Worth The Wait Revolution did not even exist
yet. Wow. It is amazing to think about how much God has
done in our lives. Remember when you believed God for the
thing that you presently have? Remember when you didn't
have a job, but God gave you supernatural favor and now
you do? Remember when you were struggling in an area of
sin or compromise, but now you are happily free? Remember
how you trusted God for a family member to change, and now
you see the fruit of your prayers? Remember how God and
only God opened the doors for you to meet key individuals
who were critical to the fulfillment of your destiny and
purpose in life? Do you remember how you were, before you
even had a relationship with God? (I do. Yikes!) Do you
remember that feeling of being lost, just before you were
found? Do you remember saying, Lord, please get me out of
this situation, only to be totally free and made whole today?
These are some of the things we need to reflect on as we
honor our Lord and Savior during this Resurrection season.
Be thankful for all that He has done for us, and stop focusing
on what has not yet manifested. It is not about Easter egg
hunts, baskets and dresses, but about the Lamb Who was slain
before the foundation of the world (Rev 5:12). Let us honor
His sacrifice by showing our love to Him, through how we
live our daily lives and represent Him in our closest relationships.
I love you all. Be encouraged knowing that a good work is
happening on the inside of you! Regardless of how you feel,
what it looks like and or what is happening around you.
This good work is taking place, by faith. Hold your course.
Remain focused. Stay in the game. Allow God to produce His
best in your life. IT'S OUR TIME!!!
